David Newman is the founder of Yoga On Main.  He is also the creator of Inner Fire Yoga, a unique style of yoga which offers a complete physical experience while honoring the spiritual nature of yoga.  David transmits his enthusiasm and expertise of Yoga in a heart felt and joyful manner which encourages students to relax, be themselves and discover the essence of Yoga for themselves.  In addition to his work at Yoga On Main, he has authored several books, produced a yoga practice CD and gives workshops, retreats and training programs around the world.   

David is also active as a recording artist, singer songwriter and singer of Indian devotional chanting known as Kirtan.  His music draws on the rich tradition of Bhakti Yoga: a practice of expressing one’s love and devotion for the Divine through song.
